First batch of pictures from Serenity3

So, I've narrowed it down to 131 pictures from this weekend. Which is still way too much to actually post on LJ. I've divided the pictures in five categories, and the two first have like 12 pictures in it, so I'll be posting that. And the rest, I'll post a few pictures as "previews" and then give a link to my Scrapbook.

But most importantly!!! Fan''s report is up! In several parts because it's so huge! You have Opening ceremony + Meet and Greet, Saturday (with all the talks) and Sunday (talks + signing). Kudos to her for putting this up so quickly, seriously. *smooches*

And it made me laugh this morning because in this other report, a girl reported Sean waving at someone during the contest on Saturday, thought he was waving at her. Made me realize probably fifteen people out there are absolutely certain that wave was directed at them. Heh.

Anyway! On to some pictures, mostly shots of the convention itself and a few "body shots", those shots were I cut out the head to keep just the body. I find body positions and lines fascinating like that. And believe me, you want to click. There's a special shot at the end at that batch.

I really love the one of Morena with her legs curled up under her, it's gorgeous. Plus, of course, the inevitable ass shot. But that's probably a given.

There's no way to describe how gorgeous Morena is, and she's especially perfect to photograph because she comes out great on camera and was always in these wonderful positions. I love that picture, the way she's sitting, the fact she's barefoot, the way she's dressed. It all works so well together. So glad you love it too!

And ah, the ass shot. He bent over for like 3 seconds. He was asking for it, really. *g*

Morena manage to be gorgeous without her head. Funny how she's one of the woman I didn't find so striking at first and who I find more and more pretty now...

We rewatched the first ep of the show last night, and she looks so much better now, with her hair like that, than in the series. Which says a lot about how amazingly and truly beautiful she is. *dies*

And raaaaah, melting again. Told ya. I love the one where he's on the chair (positions of the legs and the hands, along with the light smile). I need me a Sean Maher, just to stare at; that would be priceless. Then, if he could speak... raaaaaaaah.

Bodies shots are amazing. Sean has a very exprecing body, i like a lot the one where his hands are joinging. Very sweet and shows him as a very shy guy. I also love the second one, with the (beautiful) woman shoes. Very cool!

I love love love the body shots. Doesn't work for everybody, but Morena and Sean I thought came out so well with those, because they use their body so much.

And the hands. Don't get much started on Sean's hands. Like you said - says a lot about him. I LOVE how he was sitting on that chair, so informal and reserved and very much like him.

Well, I must say I thought I'd miss the heads....as Sean has SUCH a pretty face, but, damn, he's got a nice body too. . .!

Now why couldn't those jeans have been a bit tighter. . .

Heh! I actually really love the body shots. They're much less about the guests than about the forms and colors, but I love them anyway. I love the way both Sean and Morena turned out for that exercize!

lol about the jeans! I actually really love his style... certainly could be tighter and I wouldn't complain ;), but I love how his jeans and shirts are cut/fall on him. The man's got a wonderful sense of fashion. :)

I'm a big fan of the tightness. Though, as Sean has complained about the tightness of his pants in Serenity, I imagine he isn't so fond of tight clothes. Though there was this black shirt he was wearing one of the days that hugged him quite well.

Yes, he has a unique fashion sense, and I like it for the most part. (the jacket can go - though the long sleeved shirt under it was pretty darn sexy) I'd actually love to see a mandarin collar shirt on him.

Hah, I think just about everyone on that side of the room thought he was waving at them. I'm still going with the thought it was me. Because I'm happy in my fantasy world...

and now I'm wondering why I didn't find these pics from your post of Sean pics, because they are fabulous. Love the one with his foot tucked under him on the chair. I'm not even going to start about the hands, because my f-list would tell you I could talk/type for hours on the subject...

Thank you! I'm real happy you liked the pics!! To some extent, I find those body shots say just as much about Sean as shots were you can see his face - very expressive body, very interesting to photograph (much like Morena). And god, yes, the hands. It was my first con meeting him, and it really struck me, how physical he is - always touching, always making gestures. I love it. Plus, as a photographer, it fascinates me. :)

I wonder how much of the physical comes from that time in experimental theatre? Because, yeah, it's not just the hands. Though it's mostly the hands. Those long fingers, always spread, always touching...ahem. Sorry. Hands...

It's his posture, and the way he moves, very fluid. Like he's very much at ease with himself, and his body. Gods, yoga is a wonderful thing.
