Quickly:

1) Ha! RPing rocked last night. I so wish I could do a whole campaign with those guys.

2) I am falling in love with Jamie Bamber and Apollo. I've watched... 4 episodes of BSG? I NEED MORE.

3) Oh yeah, and Neil Patrick Harris, too. That photo is just amazing. (source) He's just so cute (and I love Nathan, but that's not new *g*).

4) Dr Horrible panel and Dollhouse panel FTW.

5) No words for how cute Tahmoh, Eliza and Joss are together. Heee!

Okay. OKAY. So maybe THIS is my last post from France. If Joss would stop being awesome (and didn't have so many cool things going on) I wouldn't have to look like an idiot!

So first, another really good interview about Dr Horrible. I'm surprised Joss says he'd cut Moist's "is that a new catchphrase?" I love that line! I think that that's what makes the "I hold a PhD in Horribleness" really funny.

Second, a really long post that Joss just made at Whedonesque, so you know that's just going to be all brilliance. It's about the fact that they're shooting a second first episode for Dollhouse and how it's nothing like Firefly WE SWEAR.

How much do I love the way this guy writes/answers interviews? He's just so funny with the smallest of things.

Oh, and I haven't watched it yet, but his interview on Best Week Ever is up here. Probably really cool too.

On that note, I'm gone now. Really.

Act 2 of Dr Horrible Sing-Along Blog is up.

And it is HYSTERICAL. I cannot say how many one-liners I loved in there, that was so worth getting up at 5am to be there for the launch. I laughed so, so hard. I am absolutely LOVING Neil Patrick Harris and his adorable twitching along with Nathan and his being a dick. This is just so, so great. I can't wait to be able to buy the episode on iTunes so I can rewatch it. :D :D :D

Now available for the whole world to see, and though I still think it would have been nice to anticipate this, thumbs-up to everyone who worked to fix the problem within half a day (and for giving tips to view it before that). Plus the fact that they left messages around the internet to try and explain makes all the difference. In the end, much of what makes this project so interesting is this responsiveness, the reality of the people behind the project.

And oh, Canada and your bilingual rules. I miss you. ^^

Dear... I want to say friends...

I Can't tell you what a thrill it was for me and Jed and Zack and Maurissa to gather round the comp-fire and await the launch of our musical... and find out it wasn't playing in many many places. And get slammed. And slammed. Yay team! Team of slamming!

The fact is, we're dealing with big companies that have moved more quickly on this venture than they've ever had to. We've always been clear about getting this out to everyone, but that just isn't as simple as we'd like. (At the last minute we found out about a Canadian restriction involving it having to be in French simultaneously...) We (well, mostly Jed) have worked to the point of delirium getting this out to you guys, and yeah, we're experiencing technical difficulties. Bear with us. We're (well, mostly Jed) trying to make this work for everyone as soon as we can. It's not thoughtlessness, or jingoism, corporate evil or scurvy. It's just new. We'll get you there.

For those of you who HAVE seen it, isn't it dreamy? Thank you for all your comments. They buoyed us much. Sadly, we really just phoned in the next two eps, so it's all downhill. Jestage!

On the video itself, I can't wait to see the rest, and I have a nagging feeling the song will grow on me the more I listen to them. Neil Patrick Harris is so adorable. ^^

There is really no point to this point except that I'm connected from Gare Montparnasse (thanks to my uncle's Neuf account) and that's an extremely exciting fact to me!

While I'm posting, I might as well mention that the first story related to Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog has been published: it's an Dark Horse online comic introducing the world to Captain Hammer. Written by Zack Whedon. Expectedly, it's awesome. :D

I'm not too sure what to think of the Heinz commercial that was pulled off the air because it showed two men kissing and their kids. I mean, I'm not sure what the humor was supposed to be with the whole calling one of the two dads 'mom' because it just seems to reinforce (hetero)sexist stereotypes, but there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that I'm fucking tired of hearing gay kisses are "inappropriate for children" and most of all I'm tired of American meddling in other English-speaking countries' affairs. The ad was going to run in England and in England only and so frankly Bill O'Reilley doesn't get to say what he wants or doesn't want to see because aside of all other issues, this is not his fucking country. There are times where I believe it would be appropriate but this is not one of them. No one is being hurt by the ad, and let other countries decide what their moral standards are going to be on gay stuff.

On a much more joyful note, this morning we have lots of Behind the Scenes pictures of Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog that have been released and that just rocks. :) It especially makes me happy to see the three Whedon brothers. And Whedon with super long sleeves. And Whedon with his cowboy hat. And Nathan being Nathan. Basically tons of happy in that album. :D
