"full of words" by shoegazerI've had this icon around for so long, I don't even remember where I found it. It's been my default forever, too, because it fits so well and I love it. Jumbled words, like the jumbled (and sometimes random) thoughts that are always crossing my mind. (Although the words that are featured don't mean much of anything. I like that "play" is in there though.) Plus it's a beautiful photo. In short: it's great.

This is my music icon. It's based on one of my favorite pictures of my friend Charlie rocking out at a Ghost of the Robot gig. I just love the color, the crazy hair, how into it he is. :)

I like to have an icon that I can use when I want to be supportive, and that's pretty much it. I love the fact that Inara's reaching for Simon - simply, but that one gesture means a lot - as they share a look. I think I'd want to be demonstrative in real life, but there's something I find touching about that moment of solidarity.

I just love the photo. In a way it's too bad it says "I love you" because I don't always use it to express love towards one person, more like love for something or a moment or whatever, but at the same it's precisely the way the phrase is written that I love. Plus it's a cassette, probably a mixed tape, which is so nostalgic and also reminds me of small, inexpensive present and how much the gesture alone can mean.

I'm not a huge fan of where they decided to go with Victor and Sierra in the end, nor ultimately of this idea that you can have a love so true and important that it would resist every change of personality, every rewiring of your brain. But there's something so touching about them when they were Victor and Sierra - the genuine care and attention they gave each other, the innocence in their interactions, that means they're still my favorite.

So you'd think when you fangirl someone like Sean Maher who runs on an average of one project a year, it'd be easy enough to keep track of everything about him on the net, right?

Well apparently no, since I keep finding new pictures. Mind you, that's not a bad thing at all. Makes the fangirl in me terribly happy. So when on top of the Sean fangirl, the B&W whore in me get satisfied, you can imagine that it's a bit overwhelming.

(I found this picture through fanmail.biz, apparently it's the shot he sends back signed when you send him a request for an autograph... The version above was reworked by me because I couldn't help but work on the contrast. *facepalm*)

So. Erm. I might also have made icons to try and deal with the prettiness.

EDIT : So the *facepalm* of the day goes to me, I've just found an interview of Sean on my computer that I'd never watched before. For whatever reason. And of course it's all kinds of adorable and god I love his hair. It's about Serenity and if anyone's interested, it can be snatched here.

When I changed all my icons to Elephant ones a week ago, I didn't even do an icon post, so here it goes! Other than that, you know the drill : credit & comment would be appreciated :)

So grimma and I are both in love with that Nathan/Morena picture... therefore icon goodness. Most of them don't have text, because I didn't have time to look for and think about quotes, but I'd love to add text on some. Please tell me if you like them but wish there was one little different thing on them - I'll do my best to change that :)

Have been playing with icons. Created only two, really, and only one I'll use for now, but hey, it's a start. Because elections are coming very soon, I felt like I kinda had to promote it a little bit, so here ya go. Kerry and Edwards are definitely not my favorite of all times, but hey, gotta go for the lesser of two weevils evils. Plus, I find the hair icon funny. *hehe* (Btw, those icons were made by shipperchick. Yay!)

As for the Bette icon - what can I say? This woman is so beautiful with that sorrowful look. I *had* to use that picture. Sums up pretty well how I'm feeling from time to time these days, and yeah, did I say beautiful? *sigh*

So yeah, I'll be back to less politically-charged icons when November 2 has come and gone.

I should go and work a little bit now.
