My scrap of dirt

Just went into a Safeway to buy myself a hairbrush, and I ended up walking around in the store and OMG I can't wait to go grocery shopping and buy so.many.things. I found Grasshoper Pie icecream!! Which I discovered in Andover and LOVED. And they have lots of flavor of Ben & Jerry's I've never tried, and so many cakes and cookies and bagels ohmygod I swear I wanted to buy the whole bakery section. Instead I was good and bought my very first cupcake! I haven't even looked too closely at cereals yet. Seriously, I was ridiculously excited by everything.

I've been trying to figure out a way to have a cell phone here without having to subscribe to a yearly plan, and WTF? You guys pay for incoming minutes?? I find it so ironic that technology ends up being cheaper in France, you guys come up with the stuff. Oh, and apparently my phone (a Nokia 5200) doesn't even exist here yet, but it's really, really popular in Asia. Totally random tidbit of info!
