MP3 player

All right, so I'm getting a mp3 player. Well mostly my CD player is agonizing and I need to think about replacing it. And so I think it's good opportunity to get a MP3 player that will last me much longer and in which I can put all 10 songs that I listen to in a row. :-p

Point is, I don't think I'm going to buy it before my CD player totally gives up on me, so hopefully it'll be a birthday present or something, but I'd already like some input from people.

I don't like the idea of spending 200 euros on a mp3 player, honestly. But I've heard very good things about the ipod (I'm thinking the 4 giga mini one here - I don't need more space than that), and I'm thinking - spending 50 bucks on a player that only has 256 mo of space is not very smart, price-wise. What d'you guys think?



Yes, I'm trying not to think about Fan' or work right now.

iPod minis are 6go now ! And even cheaper.

I don't think you should take a 256mo. The smallest you can take is 1go, IMO. I thought I wouldn't use 4go, but in fact I need more space now and I have to delete some songs.

Maybe the new iPod shuffle ? It's less expensive than iPod minis. And it's Apple. ;)

Yeah, 4 Go looks like the way to go to me... I know I'm gonna run out with 256 Mo. But ultimately, what really bothers me is the idea to pay 200 euros for such a thing. I cannot get over the feeling it's way too much money to put into a music player. I mean, the things you can do with 200 euros... argh. I need to get over that more than anything, really. :)
