So we sound our victory cheer
Nov. 6th, 2004 04:31 amListening to Once More With Feelings. Always feels good. Don't have time to go to the library this morning so I guess I'll go on Monday... it annoys me that the online catalogue isn't working.
Watched the bit of Touched I'd wanted to see a few days ago. I don't know if it's the socks or just time or what that changed it, but I find myself a little less annoyed by Kennedy. I mean in this scene she really was likeable. Maybe it's just that her having sex with Willow makes her likeable. I do think that, as sad as that is, my own coming out makes her more likeable to me. I do wonder what it would have been like if I'd been out back when Willow and Tara were together. I probably would have hated Kennedy for the rest of my life. In any case - feels good to be watching that scene and be grinning and be feeling all happy. Afterellen.com and rewatching the scene did make me realize how daring that scene actually is. What's great about it is how it's surrounded by Faith and Robin having sex, and Xander and Anya having sex, so there's that feel of "everybody is having sex" that just prevents you from going like, "ohhhhhhh, lesbians having sex!!!". Not sure I'm making myself clear. Point is, it just comes in naturally and it feels good. Also, brrr when Kennedy licks Willow's neck. Very sexy I have to admit. I'm not especially a big fan of piercings and the such, but there? Brrr. Really.
Mwah ah ah. Lesbians so obviously having sex on a not-able-channel. I think that really was awesome. Plus, Joss's kinda of the king of "you're not seeing much but oh yeah it's sexy", and it might be even better this way (though it does make the scenes kinda short). I mean, he used to have me all warm and fuzzy about the freakin' *covers* moving in Innocence. Brrrr. Now I'm thinking back on that shared dream in Amends. Eeep. That was *so* hot.
Now it makes me kinda sad Tara and Willow never had any "hot lesbian love" (gakked from hilarious
perspective_guy) on screen. That would have been very very hot. Mwah. I do miss Tara an awful lot.
On a less gay-obsessed level, had a lovely evening yesterday with Marie, which followed a really cool conversation with Camille during geography class. So if you forget about papers being handed back, nice day Friday was. Also, I'd missed those lunch conversations.
And now, I should be off to do *some* work before going to Rainbow Attitude exhibition going on Porte de Versailles.
