WTF???!!

France is broadcasting the freakin' Bush/Kerry debate and DUBBING it!!!!!!!!!!

ARGGGGGGGGGGHH!!!

I *can't* believe them!! I mean, GUYS. You keep saying you're broadcasting that debate for people interested in the American elections, BAD ENOUGH to wake up at midnight to watch/record said debate. Graaaaah. Why do they keep thinking we're too dumb to read subtitles?? Grr grr grr. Me very pissed. At least it's "over-dubbed", meaning you actually get to hear the candidates when the dubber's done. Still pissing me off, though.

Kerry doesn't look very awake, but Bush looks kinda silly all the time, like - not awake of what's happening when he's not talking. And hehe, I love when they say, "I say, Bob". Anyway, looking forward to Kerry's quote about Mary Cheney. In the meanwhile, I should go back to bed to school.

GWAAAAAH. BUSH TALKING ABOUT GAY MARRIAGE. LA LA LA LA LA. *going around, hands on ears* NOT LISTENING LA LA LA LA LA.

If you were to talk to Dick Cheney's daughter, who's a lesbian, she would tell you that she is what she is, that she was born this way.
Gee, Kerry, it sounded good till you talk about marriage being about a man and a woman -_-.

Isn't he like "*I* am against it, but I am for letting them do what they want"? It was the impression I got from what I read.
And I don't have a problem with that. He's entitled to have his own opinion, as long as he agrees that others don't have the same and that he doesn't and that he don't let his personal feelings go in the way of others' people liberties. Actually, it's kinda brave, being personnally against something but wanting to let people be able to do it anyway because you know it's the right thing to do.
Now, if he changed his mind about that, ok, it's bad. But otherwise... ;-)

His exact position is, I'm not for it, and I'll leave it up to the states. So basically, he just isn't taking a stand, except against the Constitutional Amendement. It sitll annoys me that he feels like he needs to say what he believes in the context, but then he has to. He couldn't afford to be in favor of gay marriage if he wanted to. Actually, there's a little fantasy that gay Americans have, it's that Kerry is actually for gay marriage but just isn't saying it cuz he can't. But when he's President, he'll appoint judges and all in favor of it.

Dreams are cute. ;)

Ah, well. Anyway, he isn't in favor of preventing people from doing it, and that's already a good start. And yeah, he kinda doesn't really have the choice to not say what he believes. I guess that when on personnal level you're against something but that in a general way you're for people having the right to decide by themselves what they want, you would prefer not to have to display your personal believes, because, well, they are *personal* and separate from what you'll do on a work related way.

Yeah, such dreams are cute, indeed. ;-)
