I can't even imagine how pissed social conservatives must be and that makes me gleeful. How does THAT feel, eh? 'Cause that's what it's been like for us for the past 8 years.

Now, awesomepants, next on the agenda (once you've settled in and gotten your staff some decent computers): getting rid of DOMA and Don't Ask, Don't Tell. And then I'll have to put up a little shrine. (Unless you do stupid shit. So don't.)

Non mais faut pas se déprimer non plus, c'est pas obligé que ça se termine en assassinat cette histoire, puis bon j'imagine bien que les Services Secrets sont d'autant plus attentifs qu'on sait bien qu'une personne métisse va forcément s'attirer plus de débiles que la moyenne. Donc je préfère penser que tout va bien aller, mais disons que ça ne m'étonnerait pas si quelque chose arrivait. :/

There's been word of him wanting to get rid of both DADT and DOMA, that's why I mentioned it. :) But I'm not sure to what extent he has the power of making that decision alone, or if he will actually carry through with it. Not right away, I'm sure - he has other things to worry about and I doubt he wants to divide the country on those issues right now.
