Same-sex marriage to be legal in DC
Dec. 18th, 2009 02:47 pmI was going to wait until this has gone through Congress and is final, but it's going to take another 30 days and there's no reason for Congress to block this, so whatever, let's break out the party hats now!
Same-sex marriage is going to be legal in Washington DC. Yay, etc. Now if the rest of the country could get on with the program, that'd be great, kthxbai.
To celebrate (?) I am finishing all my American grad applications before flying home. Only McGill and UBC left!
