We can believe that political opportunism is at play in Interpol’s pursuit of Assange without assuming that it’s a total frame-up.
That sums up my feelings pretty succinctly. (It also makes me a bit cranky to know that there is no way that the powers that be would even care about a sexual assault case unless their asses were on the line. Humbug.)
