I'm afraid I really have lost my keys. Fuckit. Joss is looking out for me a bit, though, as it happened a few days after I found out we had another set of our mailbox keys. But dammit, I'm annoyed. I should go get a new set done, but some delusional belief that maybe someone from my class picked the keys up and so I'll get them back next week. I know, dream on.
On to a few more interesting things :
This article about Mary Cheney is actually very interesting. What she says is very sensible and almost makes me see Cheney in a bearable way. Except not really. That said, I still feel really bad for any gay Republican. It's hard enough if your Party ignores or refuses to look into your issues, but openly campaigns against you? That's gotta be real tough to live through. (Also, Mary's partner actually exists! Yay.)
This summary of the debates surrounding the Sponsor + levels on LJ is really hilarious at times. My favorite part?
Paid Users: "Just glad I won't have to see these unless I get logged out."
Paid Users with Free Accounts: "Or logged in under an alternate free account."
Paid Users: "Who seriously goes around logged in under another username any significant amount of time?"
Locked RP Enthusiasts: "You'd be surprised."
Hehe.
A bit more serious, I ran into this article, and it's not like in a couple of years we can have babies conceived by two females, but still, it's interesting to read the developments. For some reason I can't quite figure out, I actually feel a bit reluctant at the idea of having a child like this. At the same time, being able to have a baby that's genetically part of my partner and I is obviously a very appealing idea. Too bad it can't create boys, though. Mostly, I guess I think this money could be put to better use.
