Clips from Wedding Wars available!

For those of you who might not know yet, clips from Wedding Wars (really, promotional material) have been put online at the A&E Club. There are four clips in total, and all of them have a bit of Sean in it and awwwww. There's even a kiss.

But dude I can't wait for that movie. It looks like it could be good entertainment, which is really all I'm asking for. (And it's really awesome when two of your interests collide. Seriously.)

The Socialist Party has chosen its candidate.

Ségolène Royal is the candidate for the Socialist Party for the presidential race next year.

Okay, so I'm probably way too forgiving, but I'm willing to give her a chance. She definitely freaks me out a lot less than Sarkozy does, and I want to see what her stance is on certain issues. I think she'll give me enough to be annoyed about that I don't need to start getting worked up over her before she's done anything - in the campaign, anyway, because she obviously has a (pretty heavy) political past. But hey, clean slate. Let's see what she does with it.

No matter what, I do find it extremely encouraging one of the two main parties would finally nominate a woman. I mean, 2006. Christ. Took us long enough.


Oh, and by the way - we never hear anyone calling François Hollande "François" or Nicolas Sarkozy " Nicolas" (Carl Zéro doesn't count), so could we avoid the patronizing use of a first name in the case of Ségolène Royal? Kthx.
