You know what's funniest about registering being such chaos at university this morning? Half of these students are gonna spend their whole year SKIPPING CLASSES. *facepalm* Whatever, dudes.

And the optional class I took is US Civilisation for both semesters. Ha. Er, I guess I know what I'm doing my Master in? Not that the choices were overwhelming. I also realized that both those classes plus the mandatory US Civilisation class for the first semester are taught by the same "Mme Montagutelli" whom I know zip about, but I certainly am hoping she's a good teacher, because otherwise I'm in for some very long hours. And yes, I was disappointed to find that Melle Quanquin doesn't teach anything to 3rd years.

Anyway! Not what I wanted to talk about. Yesterday [livejournal.com profile] starsong posted about reusable menstrual pads, which caught my attention because I'd never heard of them. Which is really strange, because it's brilliant! So much cheaper, so better for the environment!! It's a bit of Green heaven!!! AND. They're made in Vancouver, BC. Because Vancouver is so the best city ever. (I am, obviously, unbiased.) Point is, girls? You should totally take time to go check out the Lunapads website, especially their FAQ. It's a big investment up front, but I'm seriously thinking when I'm in Canada and shipping isn't so problematic, I'll give it a try.

And no, I don't care the few guys on my Flist just passed out.
