Cat videos!

Our babies are now grouchy teenagers (I'm kidding, they're still adorable) and I figured it was time for an update so you can see how well MeiMei Chloe's doing!

First, a video where she's walking so you can see she's gotten much more stable when she's walking calmly. She just looks a little wobbly. (Sorry the orientation of the video is screwed up, I forgot when I was recording her... >.>)

This was actually a little before, but it shows how well she can run AND turn and not necessarily run into a wall. :D I feed her in my bedroom on her own since she has her own food and she always comes running like that, it's adorable. Sometimes she bounces, too, I'll try to catch that once. :) (It takes a little bit for her to get there, just wait for it. ^^)

Now that's her playing with the feather toy, she basically incorporates her stumbling into the game and falls over and pounces and the cutest part (I think) is at the end where she basically just FLAILS at the feather even though it doesn't really help her catch it at all. xD

Just to show that it's not ALL about my cat, a video of Zoe and Maddy playing. I loves them. <3

That one I think is hilarious because I was filming Zoe in the hope that she would pant (she'd been running after the feather toy for a while and I think it's so freaking cute when she pants), but clearly MeiMei could not stand not being the center of attention. XD

The babies look so grown up now! Still adorable though :-)

I'm quite impressed with Meimei's progress.

Awww! I have a cat like your all-black one! With those baldish spots above her eyes too! She's not as outgoing though...I adopted her from a foster family through VOKRA, and she was skittish then, and still is, 2 years later. At night she cuddles a ton though. It's strange!

Aw! She sounds really cute. :) We've had so much luck with all the cats that we've fostered - they were always so sweet and gentle. I'm more of a dog person originally and I've been really surprised by just how nice all our cats have been. One of our first ones was pretty skittish too but he'd come to us on his own terms and then would just snuggle... it's a very cat thing to do. ;) The one I've adopted is not skittish at all and will let us do pretty much anything to her, I love her to bits.

(And yay for you for adopting a black cat! We've heard usually black and white cats - and all-black cats especially - don't go as fast for whatever reason. Almost all of our fosters have been black and white and I think they look beautiful.)

Maybe it's because of the black cat superstition? i don't know why they wouldn't adopt black and white ones though! Awww! :(
