Wouuuuf Iceland
Aug. 11th, 2004 03:43 pmQuick quick update :
We've reached Iceland, all is good. Weather was excellent today, we went into Reykjavik and Fan' bought a couple of things (including a very hot and tight black t-shirt with two female signs on it - leftovers from the city's Gay Pride of Aug. 7 - we missed it by so little!) and I bought a couple of postcards. I fought and frollicked with my brother in a small park. We also found the gay bar we want to go to (the Café Cosy) and an Italian restaurant we'll be going to tomorrow for our anniversary.
Yesterday, we met up with Gunnar (Gun - nar (roll the r)), the family's son, who showed us the way to the house. He was such a pretty guy, and was very nice, too. Just seemed a little shy and didn't talk loud enough. We ended up in his room with Fan', and Peewai's in the room next to us. The house is very clean and Ikea-esque, so great. We have a TV and an awesome stereo in our room, completed with a DVD player. And, as you can see, DSL connection for two computers. Not much to complain about (except bugs, a little, would say Fan', but then I get to kill them and be like the hero or something).
Tomorrow, horseback-riding with Icelandic horse (yay tölt I hope), restaurant and maybe hot swimming pool? We'll see. We're off to watch Master & Commander.
